Tariff

The Tariff of £95 per night is based on two people sharing a double room ensuite,
includes full english breakfast.

All prices include VAT.
It is not our policy to include a Service Charge. This is entirely at your discretion.

Making a Booking

Confirmation and Deposits
.
A non refundable deposit of £50.00 per room is required on making a reservation. We accept cash or cheque payments. No reduction is made for early departures.

Cancellations
.
Deposits are transferable to alternative dates (within three months, depending upon availability) if 7 days notice is given. We advise insurance to cover all your eventualities regarding your booking.

Cards
.
At present we do not have facilities to take credit or debit cards. Payments are taken in either cash or cheques.

Checking In

Rooms are available to you from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival. If you wish to arrive earlier, you are welcome to leave luggage or your car if you are going out for the day on the Steam Railway or take the opportunity for a days walking.

Hotel Bar

The Traditional village pub bar is open during the season from 11am-11pm daily, 12noon - 11pm Sunday. Out of season hours 11am - 3pm and 7pm - 11pm. Please call if you would like exact times and dates.  

Bar Meals

We serve between 12noon - 2pm and 7 - 8pm most days. During the season these hours are extended, please call for more information. We have daily special boards and do our utmost to use fresh local and British produce when available in all our menus.  

Breakfast

Full English Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and served to your table. Selection of quality juices or cereals to start, a hot cooked English breakfast or a Fortunes of Whitby Kipper (Smoked split Herring) Order taken at the your table between 8.30am-9.00am. All complimented with bread, toast, or warm French bread. Yorkshire Tea or Taylors of Harrogate Fresh Filter Coffee. Where possible all our products are sourced locally, our bread is from an artisan bakery and our meats from a quality family butcher.

Smoking Policy

All hotel areas are strictly no smoking including bedrooms.

Dogs

The tariff for dogs staying in your room is £5 per dog per night. This is at the managements discretion and we ask that they are kept on the floor on leads at all times.
